He always felt he is disqualified from being human and cannot relate to what makes up a normal human. ![]() The protagonist, Yozo Oba was born in an aristocratic family with knowledge and teaching of Western culture, however from young he seems unable to reconcile with his own identity. This was written as journal entries by the main character, Oba and we see directly his disturbing thoughts and they are vividly painful to read because we are reading from his personal nightmares. ![]() For such a short book, the emotional ride i had with this story will stay for a long time with me I tabbed so many quotes and the sentences that resonated with me. ![]() |
